I haven't been a log writer yet, but Camille told me I had to for this.

Thing is a giant dead tree, with big lush leaves that moves kinda strangely. With every movement it skitters and sways without the presence of wind, though it hasn't presented any malicious intent.

I was advised to keep my guard up regardless of its intentions, and I will follow this approach for the time being. It hasn't actually done anything yet, which makes me curious as to what exactly are its capabilities.

As it turns out, what was previously thought to have been leaves were instead a large amount of Cicadoidea otherwise known as the common cicada. It really is a dead tree covered in insects, furthermore it isn't harmless. It attacks similarly to most plant/tree-like abnormalities by sprouting roots from the ground, while occasionally swarming with insects (poor Wade never stood a chance).

Despite all of that however, it primarily focuses on supporting its allies through song. I've seen their friends regenerate from attacks that would've slain them, the same songs debilitate us. Otherwise it's not much of a fighter by itself, so focusing it down could save us from a battle of attrition.
